Next year I will be continuing to learn what I can about Roman history past 100 AD (the quality histories really drop off) and reading more Stoicism from the era. As well as some more Dostoevsky reading (I already started Crime & Punishment) I will be finally reading Marcel Proust’s “In Search of Lost Time”, and probably getting into French literature generally, which I love but haven’t made time to read in many years as I always read American and Russian literature. I will also be reading more “modern” political theory, I have Locke to start currently, and then need to get into Montesquieu.
