Of Truckers, Political Hacks, and the Non-Working Class

With their response to the trucker protests, the oligarchs once again show their hatred for the commons

One absurd and famous feature of 19th century Russian literature is that the characters very rarely have what you or I would consider a job, and instead expect to fund a dissolute lifestyle through some small passive income and debts. They are constantly scrambling for money, but earning money through any sort of honest labor is never considered. In fact, when they do have a job it is often some sort of thing they are supposed to put their own funds into, and while honorable is a net expense [such as officers outfitting their own regiments.] This had worked fine when feudalism remained a viable system, but after the Industrial Revolution in other countries and all of the other changes, it no longer brought in the money it once did. And at this point, they were not acclimated at all to actually managing their estates, they just assumed there would always be more money. They basically just drank and gambled and went to balls at exclusive clubs in Moscow and Petersburg.

So, this race of men, these nobles, became all the more absurd, seeing that the end is near but sheepishly enjoying their position of power while supporting various reforms. A friend of mine jokingly referred to the nobility as “professional ennui-havers”, which is quite accurate, as they had all of the education but no purpose. Unlike the peasantry, they could afford to be unhappy.

Coming to present, a different friend of mine who is a university instructor told me recently, I think following some article about “Zoom Fatigue” (to which I commented, “They’ll be fine, adults are resilient”), that it doesn’t appear to him that anyone whom he works with actually knows anyone who has a difficult job. That is to say, throughout all of this, 2 years of covid nonsense, they haven’t even been to conceptualize through the normal human empathy built from experience what it would be to have a difficult job, like the millions of Americans who actually work hard for a living.

The professional managerial class are truly our own corrupt nobility: over-educated, unhappy, purposeless, and with no joy in life but that which comes from holding petty authority. And this cancer has swelled, and threatens to consume the body politic. There is simply too much in it for them to have control of everything, to create layers and layers of meaningless jobs which serve little purpose but to harass and humiliate the population. And for these do-nothing jobs, they get substantially higher than average income, much better benefits, and much better job security. I usually don’t use the example of the nobility, I usually call them either our Mandarins or our Pharisees: both are fitting as all they believe in are arcane rules and government revenue.

And no sane person envisions or desires a society where this group holds power, but as they gain it they continued to see to their interests. This part of the scam of excessive regulations: the politicians- who are lawyers- make ridiculously complex laws knowing that a class of lawyers I call “paper janitors” will be paid like $80 an hour to oversee regulations and this will benefit large corporations who have instaff legal teams and harm their competitors. So lawyers make more work for lawyers. And from all of these regulations come, you guessed it, more managers. Administrative bloat is truly killing this society, and they all live the same, and hate the working man.

This problem already existed, but when the covid scam started it turned into what we now call the “Zoomocracy”, and the difference between the lives of real, or “essential” workers, and these pathetic cowardly mentally ill managers separated a great deal. While many people were completely screwed, they worked from home in their pajamas with lower expenses and ever-increasing income.

But the Canadians may be actually save us, the Canadians those most docile of people. In that vast, sparsely inhabited country, being a trucker is a major profession. All of North America relies heavily on truckers, but the scale of Canada’s wilderness makes them an even bigger part of the economy. And after 2 years of working their asses off in a totalitarian society ran by losers behind computer screens in their pajamas, the Canadian truckers decided that they needed some basic freedom. At issue: needing proof of vaccination each time you cross the border, which of course, many of them do daily. 90% of truckers are vaccinated, most have probably contracted covid in their travels, but this was too much bullshit.

And boom, the Freedom Convoy was born, and with it a real chance to actually restore freedom. The truckers, the actual working class, have indeed seized the means of production, and the oligarchs and their minions in the professional managerial class are in a panic.

Of course, they only have one script, which is to call the truckers racists, white supremacists, insurrectionists, say that they represent a fringe minority. While Trudeau hides. While their covid regime crumbles. And today they have stepped up with further threats, but I can’t imagine this doesn’t draw more people. A quarter of Canada’s trade with the United States passes over that single bridge, $325 million daily. Our inept rulers cannot allow this to go on, and they cannot stop it.

The only tool they have is to continue their bizarre society-wide attack on the poor, whereby they want you to believe that a coal miner in West Virginia is the true ruling class because he is white. They want you to believe the common political views of rural Americans are radical and anti-American. It works on the “retard coalition”, but that group is crumbling, and is so damaged from 2 years of believing in this shit they are hardly even integrated into society. I, for one, view the prospect of their re-entry with no joy.

Thus far, the people with pointless jobs have been able to buy off those with no jobs at all through welfarism, but in a crumbling and miserable America this incentive is failing, especially as the white liberals are profoundly condescending and no sane minority person would want to spend any time around them, besides the scam teachers of racial nonsense.

So, at this loss, they continue their “Deplorables” schtick, pretending to be the workers party while blaming all of America’s problems on the general public being morally bad and physically unclean. That was their entire covid discourse, and they are not going to stop now.

I have to say, scapegoating the general public is a bold strategy. I would almost admire their reckless audacity if not for the fact that I knew it was born of delusion, not courage.

Honk Honk! Keep it up, Canadians, make the oligarchy give back all they’ve taken from us by shutting down the motor of the world. Freedom is worth far more than comfort or prosperity.
